    IN The LAST WEEK OF SEPTEMBER 1952 (Saturday) I looked up into the sky and

    saw a UFO that was shiny against the blue sky about 200 yards away and sort of

    drifting slowly...noiseless, and no sign of openings etc.  I went to get a neighbor

     to look at it...I wasn't going to be the only person ...She reported it to Dow Airforce

     Base in Bangor, Maine. While reporting...another one came by. The airforce said

     they'd intercept them.  They didn't...and people at a nearby town reported seeing

     the two shiny objects in the sky. They were not  from Planet Earth. I  joined the

     Naval Airforce in 1954, and have never seen anything like them.
